This is one beautifully kept 1976 Buick Riviera with just over 8,000 miles on the odometer! Originally built in Flint MI, it is powered by a 455 cubic inch (7.5 liter) V8 with a 3-speed ST-400 automatic transmission.
It is a true time capsule that has been stored in a climate controlled garage and used only on special occasions. Painted in Boston Red it has a matching cloth interior in stunning condition.
The Riviera was always both a road car and something luxurious. The 1976 Riviera was no exception. The original brochure described it as: ‘A road car; a luxury car. It’s two of the nicest cars you’ve ever wanted‘.
Power windows and a 2-way power seat were standard on the Riviera, as was the automatic transmission, variable ratio power-steering and power brakes (with front discs). This car is also fitted with the 8-track tape player – a $341 option and Air Conditioning – a $594 option.
Buick sold 20,082 Rivieras for the 1976 model year with a base price of $6,798.
